Basic Services

 The Electron Microscope Unit has facilities for several types of preparation for light and electron microscopy.

Preparation

We can offer to prepare, or provide facilities for preparation, sections and samples for light or electron microscopy.  This includes:

1. histochemistry and immunocytochemistry for light microscopy
2. ultrastructure, negative staining, immunogold labelling and for TEM
3. wet or dry sample preparation for SEM

Microscopy

We have facilities for:

1. conventional TEM
2. immunogold
3. SEM
